河南醫學高等專科學校是經河南省人民政府批準設置的一所公辦醫學普通高等?？茖W校，隸屬于河南省衛生健康委員會。學校創辦于1952年，前身是河南省衛生干部學校，承擔全省醫療衛生人員培訓和普通中等醫學教育;1984年升格為河南衛生職工學院，承擔成人?？漆t學教育，1993年增掛河南職工醫學院牌子;2002年開始招收普通專科學生，承擔普通?？漆t學教育任務;2013年3月，經河南省人民政府批準改制為河南醫學高等專科學校。

建校60多年來，學校秉持“厚德、博學、篤行、致遠”的校訓，弘揚“自強不息、百折不撓、艱苦奮斗、無私奉獻”的醫專精神，立足河南，輻射全國，面向基層，依托行業，服務社會,堅持學歷教育與職業培訓并舉，持續加強內涵建設，緊密結合河南省衛生健康行業和相關產業發展需要，著力培養、培訓高素質技術技能人才，畢業生遍布我省醫療衛生單位，為全省衛生健康事業發展作出了積極貢獻。

學?，F有兩個校區，南校區位于鄭州新鄭教育園區，北校區位于鄭州市金水區，占地面積共74.84萬平方米，校舍總建筑面積32.32萬平方米，固定資產總值5.46億元，教學科研儀器設備總值1.02億元，館藏圖書67.6萬冊，電子圖書51萬冊。學?，F有專任教師637人，其中，教授、副教授169人，博士15人、碩士290人;擁有二級教授、省學術技術帶頭人、省職業教育教學專家、省級青年骨干教師等35人，引進特聘教授9人。學校面向全國18個省份招生，現有全日制學生11719人，成人?？平逃龑W生835人，2019年報到率97.39%，獲得“改革開放40周年具有國內影響力河南高校”榮譽稱號。

學校是河南省職業教育特色院校，省級優質校建設單位，中國人民解放軍空軍士官人才培養定點院校。目前設護理系、醫學系、藥學系、檢驗系、醫學技術系、思想政治理論教學研究部、公共基礎部、基礎醫學部、體育部、繼續教育部等教學單位，開設臨床醫學、護理、藥學、醫學檢驗技術、醫學影像技術等23個專業(方向)。護理專業是全國職業院校養老服務類示范專業點、全國護理示范實訓基地、省特色專業建設項目，臨床醫學、醫學檢驗技術、醫學影像技術、藥學專業被評為河南省高等學校綜合改革試點專業。學校連續八屆蟬聯全省護理技能大賽團體一等獎，榮獲全國衛生職業院校檢驗技能大賽團體一等獎三次、二等獎兩次，臨床醫學專業團體一等獎、影像專業團體一等獎。

學校組建了1500平方米的醫學科研實驗中心，建有河南省腦退行性疾病重點實驗室、老年醫學研究所、腫瘤研究所和細胞生物學、分子生物學、免疫學實驗室等。建成河南省臨床技能實訓中心，包括基礎實驗室、專業實訓室共135個。近3年取得廳級以上課題195項，獲得專利74項，發表論文767篇;省級精品在線開放課程3門、立體化教材3門。學校職業培訓成效顯著，作為河南衛生人員培訓中心、河南省全科醫學培訓中心、河南省護理人員培訓中心、河南省專業技術人員繼續教育培訓基地、國家職業技能鑒定所等14個省級專業技術人員培訓基地，持續開展全省?？谱o士培訓、全科醫生轉崗培訓、鄉村醫生培訓等，促進全省衛生相關專業技術人員能力提升，年均培訓各類人員達1.5萬人。

學校附屬醫院是一所集醫療、教學、科研、康復和預防保健為一體的綜合醫院，設計床位1500張，開放床位800張，專業齊全，設備先進，完善功能。同時，加強校院合作，共同建設了59個校外教學實習基地，滿足臨床教學和實習實訓需要。

近年來，學校被評為全國全科醫學教育重點學校、全國綠化模范單位、省級文明單位、省級文明標兵學校、河南省職業教育先進集體、全省學校行風建設先進單位、河南省衛生系統先進單位、河南省依法治校示范校。

College Profile

Henan Medical College is a public medical college approved by Henan provincial people’s government. It is under the administration of Health Commission of Henan Province. The school was founded in 1952, formerly known as Henan Health Cadre School, which is responsible for the training of provincial medical and health personnel and general secondary medical education. In 1984, it was upgraded to Henan Health Workers College, undertaking adult medical education. In 1993, it was added to the brand of Henan Medical Workers College. In 2002, it began to recruit general college students and undertake the task of general college medical education. In March 2013, it was restructured into Henan Medical College with the approval of Henan provincial people’s government.

Over the past 60 years, HMC upholds the motto of " Great kindness, Wisdom, Sincerity and Far-reaching", and carries forward the spirit of "self-improvement, perseverance, hard struggle and selfless dedication". Based in Henan Province, radiating the whole country, facing the grass-roots level, relying on industry and serving the society, HMC adheres to the combination of academic education and vocational training, continues to strengthen the connotation construction, closely integrates the development needs of the health industry and related industries in Henan Province, and focus on training high-quality technical and skilled personnel. HMC consists of two campuses. The southern campus is located in Xinzheng Education Park, and the northern campus is in Jinshui District, Zhengzhou City. It covers an area of 74.84 hectares, with a total building area of 323,200 square meters , a total fixed assets value of 546 million RMB, a total value of 102 million RMB for teaching and scientific research instruments and equipment, 676,000 books and 510,000 e-books in the library. The college currently has 637 full-time teachers, among which, 169 with titles of professor or associate professor; 15 with Doctor’s Degree and 290 with Master’s Degree; 35 with titles of second-level professors, Provincial Academic and Technological leaders, Provincial Vocational Education and Teaching experts or provincial young key teachers; and 9 specially appointed professors. The college has 11,719 full-time students and 835 adult education students from 18 provinces of China. The registering rate is 97.39% in 2019. HMC has won the honorary title of "Henan University with Domestic Influence on the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up".

Henan Medical College is a specially vocational education institution in Henan province, a provincial quality school construction unit, and a designated training school for the PLA air force. At present, the college has the department of nursing, department of medicine, department of pharmacy, department of laboratory science, department of medical technology, department of ideological and political theory teaching and research, department of public foundation, department of basic medicine, department of physical education, ministry of continuing education and other teaching units, and it has clinical medicine, nursing, pharmacy, medical laboratory technology, medical imaging technology and other 23 professional (direction).The nursing is a demonstration specialty of old-age care service in national vocational colleges and universities.
